Epoxy Coating Installation

What to Expect on Installation Day

Our goal is to complete your new floor coating as efficiently and quickly as possible so we can get you back into your garage! We arrive at 9:00 AM to get started.

To help ensure a smooth, flawless installation, please review our quick prep checklist:

Access and Attendance

  • You don’t need to stay: There is no need for you to sit around or miss work while we install your floor.
  • If you can’t be home: Please ensure our team has a clear way to access the garage (such as an entry code, unlocked side door, or a hidden key).

Preparing the Garage

  • Clear the floor: Please ensure the entire garage floor is completely clear of all vehicles, tools, and storage bins before 9:00 AM.
  • Keep walls and perimeters open: We need the perimeter concrete stem walls clear so our crew can move freely and apply the coating evenly to the edges.
  • No need to empty upper shelves: We do not dust-bomb your garage! Thanks to our advanced dustless diamond grinding equipment, your upper walls and overhead shelves are safe from dust mess. You do not need to empty them.

Winter Installs (Cold Weather Tip)

  • Check your garage heater: If your floor is being installed during the winter months, please check that your garage heater is working ahead of our arrival. We may need to utilize the heat to ensure the coating cures perfectly.

The Coating Timeline

  • Day 1 Assessment: Every concrete slab is a little different. After our first day on-site, we will assess any pre-existing concrete damage (like cracks or pitting). Once we know what repairs are needed, we will give you a detailed coating and cure schedule tailored exactly to your floor.
